Municipal Government Upgrades 800-Meter Road in Bul-ogan, Barangay Songco
Published on December 05, 2025The ongoing road rehabilitation project in Bul-ogan, Barangay Songco is steadily progressing, with major activities such as road widening and partial road gravelling already in full swing. The project covers a total road length of 800 meters and aims to significantly improve the condition of the existing roadway.
The Municipal Engineering Office (MEO) is directly supervising the implementation of the project under the guidance of Municipal Engineer Engr. Jessell S. Pacturan, ensuring that construction standards, safety protocols, and quality workmanship are strictly followed throughout the duration of the work.
Funding for the project comes from the 20% Local Development Fund (LDF) of the Municipality of Lantapan, reflecting the local government’s continued commitment to infrastructure development and rural accessibility.
Once completed, the improved road is expected to enhance mobility, ease the transport of agricultural goods, and provide safer and more convenient access for farmers, motorists, and residents of Barangay Songco and nearby communities. The project is also anticipated to contribute positively to local economic activities by improving connectivity between farms, households, and markets.
The municipal government assures the public that it will continue to monitor the project closely to ensure timely completion and lasting benefits for the people of Lantapan.
